The next interview is with Charles Bradford. Elder Bradford has had a very productive career within adventism including becoming the first AFrican American to be elected presdient of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. His career has been largely as an evangelist and church administrator.
Elder Brooks defined himself as a “traveling Preacher.” He has been the Field Secretary of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists as well as the speaker/director for Breath of Life television program.
Elder Brooks states that his theology of preaching is that he should “exalt Christ and his word.”
The next interview is with E. E. Cleveland. He is probably the greatest Adventist Evangelist of our time. When one thinks of Adventist Evangelists E. E. Cleveland’s name will almost certainly come up
James Doggette is a professor at Oakwood College as well as the Pastor of the Madison Mission Seventh-day Adventist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. Dr. Doggette is a dynamic speaker who relatively recently has held an Amazing Facts seminar in Huntsville Alabama.

This afternoon, I attended a seminar on church growth put forth by Dr. Carlton P. Byrd at the Riverside Seventh-day Adventist church in Nashville, TN.
The Berean Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he pastors, has experienced tremendous growth since his being placed in the church.
The Adventist church used to promote the work of evangelists who baptized more than 100 people in a year. They called them centurions. Around the 1980s the church stopped publishing baptism information for its pastors.
However, these centurions still lurk around the country. There are probably more than I can know, but I have recently become aware of one who I have known for years. Pastor James Owens of Longview Heights SDA Church in Memphis Tennessee.
