Beliefs

Some have questioned the beliefs that are operative on The Sabbath Pulpit website.  We enthusiastically, apologetically, and wholeheartedly support the 28 Fundamental Beliefs of Seventh-day Adventists as found at the General Conference site.

To be clear, our beliefs include:

• A Belief in the Heavenly Sanctuary and Jesus’ present ministry there. This ministry includes God’s provision for Forgiveness and Cleansing.
• A belief in the continued relevancy and truth of the Seventh-day Sabbath.
• A belief in the prophetic gift of Ellen White.
• A belief in the visible and literal second advent of Jesus Christ.
• A belief in Biblical holism which recognizes that the Spirit of a person cannot live apart from the body of a human being.
• The Everlasting Gospel that was reaffirmed in the “Most Precious Message” that God gave to the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1888.

The emphasis of this ministry can be seen in the logo.  In it we present Jesus Christ as represented in the red cross, but we also include God’s commandments which are the transcript of God’s character.
